8:00 PM EST. We are going right back to Seattle tonight, and this is a classic preseason spot where we want to look past the final score from the opening week. The Seahawks did not give us much offensively in their first game, but that is exactly why we are getting a price tonight. We are not interested in chasing the result of one exhibition game, especially when the purpose of these games is evaluating players, experimenting with combinations and getting everyone into the flow of a new season.

We also like the situation surrounding Seattle's trip to Tennessee. The joint practices between these clubs give the Seahawks a valuable look at what they will see across from them, and that can be much more useful than anything that happened during the opening preseason game. Coaches have already had an opportunity to evaluate the opposition in a controlled setting, and we expect Seattle to come into this game with a much better idea of what it wants to accomplish.

Tennessee is going to attract plenty of attention after winning its opener, and that is fine with us. The Titans looked good enough to win their first exhibition, but preseason momentum is something we are not prepared to pay for. Seattle is coming off a disappointing performance, and that creates a much better betting opportunity for us. We expect the Seahawks to clean up some of the mistakes from the opener and approach this game with considerably more purpose.

Seattle is our play tonight on the road to beat Tennessee. We are fading the preseason result, fading the extra attention Tennessee has received after its opening win and backing Seattle to respond. The joint practices should have helped the Seahawks prepare for this opponent, and we expect a much sharper performance from Seattle tonight. Give us the Seahawks to get the job done.
