Dallas +135 over Philadelphia
4:25 PM ET The market is still treating Philadelphia like the polished, machine-like version of itself from last year, but that team hasn’t shown up once in 2025. What we’re left with is a banged-up Eagles squad running on fumes behind a compromised offensive line, laying points against a Dallas team that suddenly looks alive again on the defensive side of the ball. That’s not a matchup you want to be paying a premium for.
Philadelphia has won four straight, but peel back the layers and the shine starts to fade. Their last three opponents all walked into the Linc missing key personnel. Now the Eagles lose Lane Johnson — the backbone of their protection and the guy who has single-handedly kept their right side afloat for five years. You don’t “replace” Lane Johnson. You just brace for the leak and hope it doesn’t sink the ship. Only this week, the leak is staring down a Dallas front that finally found its teeth on Monday night.
Quinnen Williams changes everything. He didn’t ease into anything — he fired out of a cannon, wrecked pockets, blew up blocking schemes and made the Raiders’ run game look like it had been banned by league rules. Dallas’ defense was statistically the worst unit in football for the first six weeks, but personnel matters more than spreadsheets, and Williams is a blue-chip disruptor. With the Eagles down a tackle and already struggling in pass protection, this matchup swings harder toward the Cowboys than the market is willing to admit.
Dallas also comes into this one with something Philadelphia hasn’t had in a month: momentum with purpose. The Cowboys looked refreshed out of the bye, and if you remove the gossip about who stayed out too late on Saturday night, the on-field product showed a team that played fast, loose and confident. Dak didn’t have to be Superman — the offense was balanced, the intermediate passing game clicked, and the play-action game finally had bite.
The Eagles, meanwhile, still look like they’re slogging through mud in the second halves of games. That fluky opener between these teams — 41 points in the first half, three total in the second — wasn’t some defensive awakening. It was a weather-induced freeze-out. Remove the lightning delay, and Philadelphia was getting diced up. The Cowboys didn't forget that.
